CARTHAGE HELP CENTER

  • Is Theseus an "educational" book?
Theseus has no particularly educational intent, except that it depends heavily on Greek mythology and the account of Theseus' life recorded by Plutarch. Undoubtedly those who read it will learn some interesting things about Ancient Greeks and mythology, but humor and joy are the primary goals of the work.
  • For what age group is Theseus written?
Safe for all ages, but probably best as children approach the Young Adult category of literature, as the vocabulary and story complexity may be beyond them otherwise. It also ideally suited for adults who love mythology and share an infantile sense of humor.
